Ultron, Farms, and Romance. Not the Avengers Expected – but the Avengers We Needed. (Spoilers)

May 1st theaters worldwide opened their door to the nerds around the world with one common goal – The new Avengers movie. This movie is so important to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, its the changing point from one phase to the next – coming one step closer to the Infinity war series. Thats just what this movie did and so much more.

The movie starts off with the a bang and doesn’t slow down until after the credits roll. There was so much to this movie, than just action – plot points are being set up left and right. You have the Wadanka being set up for the Black Panther movie, Thor’s subplot to which he figures out the Infinity Stone problem, and Clint’s little surprise, I’ll keep that one a secret for now. Also one big shock a romance between two of our hero’s and not the ones you would think of either, but at the same time when you think about it- you’re okay with it.

As always Stan-Lee’s cameo is clever and funny as per usual, don’t worry either you won’t miss it. THERE IS ONLY ONE CUT SCENE. Don’t do what I did and wait until the end, theres only one, but its wonderful and worth it. Lets just say it puts a clock on an infinity war and the timer has started.

So action is good, and so is the comedy it turns out. Normally there’s jokes flung here and there in these movies but this one takes the cake, this movie is filled with good humour, especially with our Villain – Ultron. He’s ripe with the same sass as his creator Tony Stark. Not to mention enough power to destroy the world. Even though hes such a murder-bot he still has that something about him that makes you like him so much.

The best part of the movie for me personally would have to be the unveiling of Vision. Or as most know him as Jarvis. I won’t give away too much here either but I was rather excited to see that Vision is fighting amongst the Avengers team and hopefully if all goes well – he’ll become a main player in the Infinity War series.

All in all this movie was amazing – some still thinking the first avengers is better is what I like to call wrong. This action packed movie was just what I wanted to see, Its perfectly setting up phase three of the Marvel Universe and I cannot wait to see what’s in store next for our heros.

Final Rating for Avengers: Age Of Ultron 4.8/5
