Civil War Or Another Avengers Installment?

The third installment of the of the Captain America franchise is underway, and as the cast is slowly being revealed were getting more are more super stared and packed. At this point, it seems like we’re getting further and further away from the idea of the Civil War series and closer to the multiverse movie. In the comics this series is Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Toe to toe on the potential Superhero Registration Act. Tony on the side of Registration, does whatever it takes to win. Including the death of Steve Rogers by the hands of Agent 13. That’s the comic though – anything can really happen (or change) in the movie.

Civil War is due to start right where Age of Ultron left off. With our lovable Cap, with the “new” team of Avengers. After a massive slew of damage left over from the battle of Ultron, its very easy to guess what the firestarter could be for the Registration Act. With the Hulk A.K.A Bruce Banner, being M.I.A and his possible arrest warrant in the air, the stage has been set. There is reason for civilians to angry.

Not only is Civil War the best possible movie to follow up after the Ultron series, it’s possibly the pinnacle point for the new Thor: Ragnarok series as well. After Thor is presumed MIA Tony takes it upon himself to Clone the Norse God with the help of Hank Pym. Now where the Ant-Man movie coming out next on the Marvel playlist, and Paul Rudd who is playing Ant-Man as Scott Summers to be listed for a cameo; We have the potential for Ragnarock to easily be set up here.

There was a casting call for a potential funeral, now from what we know Capitan America is in Infinity War. So who else dies is the Civil War series? Well that would be Goliath or Bill Foster – and who kills Goliath? The Norse God Clone – named Ragnarok.  That could possibly be who Martin Freeman has been casted as. So we know that the clone is possible, from the Battle of Ultron – we know that creating life – well it’s possible.

“We create our own demons” – Tony Stark (Iron Man 3)

Because of Helen Cho, we know that creating life is possible (The Vision) and with Tony’s twisted mind, we know that creating life, or artificial intelligence is his new hobby. So with Helen’s machine, and Tony’s mind creating a clone mightn’t be that hard.

From what we know, this movie is going to be big, where the Avengers left off, and someone is going to die. Steve Rogers, and Tony Stark will be going head to head,  now where Tony is “out” or “retired” of the Avengers. This could be the final movie for him, as of yet we don’t know if he’s cast in the Infinity War movies.

With all of our characters, lined up, and ready to go, we as the fans are really only left to speculate what’s going to happen. I would love to believe that what I have guess and written is to be true, but it’s Marvel. They’ll do the unexpected, and it will blow any fans mind. We’ll only know when we walk into the theatre and sit down for the movie. Until then the only thing you can do is sit in anticipation and wait.

  1. I’ve not seen the Avengers movie. Complicated story. I fell off the Marvel movies after Iron Man 2 and the first Thor. That was a mistake on my part.
